Venture Vehicles Presents the Carver flex fuel hybrid car

July 22nd, 2008 by admin

The Carver from Venture Vehicles has gear turners and gadget lovers turning heads and raising questions.

Is it a motorcycle? Is it a car? Is it a fighter plane without wings? One thing’s for certain; The Carver One from Venture Vehicles is one insane hybrid vehicle! This innovative flex fuel coup boasts a revolutionary 45 degree side-to-side tilt allowing you steer it like a car, but when cornering it banks like a motorcycle while you feel like you are flying a jetfighter! To get the full idea, take a look at the demonstration in the video below, brought to you by the BBC Program TopGear:

With an anticipated ticket price of $20,000, this is definitely a big boy’s toy, but what a toy it is! This unique 2-passenger flex fuel Hybrid vehicle is projected to achieve 100 miles per gallon, accelerate from 0-60 in about 7 seconds, and with a top speed of over 100 mph. There is some speculation that the US version of the Carver will come equipped with a speed governor, but I suppose we’ll have to wait and see. The first round of Carvers won’t be available in the US until 2009.
