The New England Institute of Technology Automotive Technology Program provides in-depth study and application of the most up-to-date trends in the automotive repair field. New England Institute of Technology’s automotive program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). New England Institute of Technology’s automotive facility is a Regional Training Center for the National Alternative Fuels Training program.
The New England Institute of Technology Automotive Technology Department offers two automotive Associate’s Degree programs: Automotive Technology (Evenings) and Advanced Automotive Technology (Days). While both programs cover the same topics, the Advanced Automotive Technology degree includes more in-depth study and mechanic school training. NEIT uses the latest automotive industry standards, up-to-date diagnostic equipment, and Automotive Service Excellence-approved curriculum in its mechanic training program.
New England Institute of Technology offers Advanced High Performance Program in conjunction with the Automotive Technology program. The New England Institute of Technology Advanced High Performance Program educates students on developing horsepower and torque by means of bolt-on performance accessories, powertrain modifications, custom powertrain tuning, and suspension tuning.
New England Institute of Technology students will have the ability to make modifications and measure horsepower improvements on New England Tech owned vehicles or to their own vehicles on our new Chassis Dynamometer. These intensive programs in New England Institute of Technology Automotive Technology program prepare the mechanic school student for their new automotive careers. They are trained for entry-to-industry level employment and are technically capable offering the skills needed for rapid advancement.
