Accidents happen. Automotive collision repair is big business and requires educated and experienced technicians to meet the demands of auto body shops nationwide. Universal Technical Institute’s Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology program provides specialty training to students so they can repair damages on today’s more sophisticated vehicles. 
Students will learn about welding, electrical repair, frame alignment, mechanical repair, and custom paint jobs.
Students of UTI’s Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology program follow the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) curriculum to gain an entry-level education as a collision repair technician. Students receive hands-on training with experienced instructors to give them a solid foundation in this highly specialized field. UTI’s Collision Repair program also goes beyond teaching about automotive mechanics and high-quality restorations, and includes essential business skills in their curriculum to ensure that students receive the education that can give them a long-lasting career.
