Associate of Applied Science in High Performance

Prepare for an advanced career in racing This advanced auto repair degree program is designed for students with automotive engine performance skills who are looking for a future in management in the high performance industry.

The goal of our Associate of Applied Science in High Performance degree program is to provide you with core education courses that cover current technologies and advanced auto repair procedures being used in the field. This includes courses in transmissions, diagnostics, electronics, hydraulics, welding, fabrication and more.

Graduates can expect to be ready for jobs as automotive technicians, racing technicians, aftermarket parts installers, service writers and specialty shop technicians.

Edelbrock Performance Academy

Ohio Technical College has partnered with Edelbrock to create a specialized school training certificate program, under the Edelbrock Performance Academy name. This advanced program will focus on training students on aftermarket performance products.

  • Intake Manifolds

  • Electronic Fuel Injection Systems
  • Nitrous/superchargers
  • Data acquisition systems

As students complete modules within the above training programs that feature Edelbrock parts and training, they will receive an EA Certificate of Completion on that part.

This program is available to all automotive, high performance and auto-diesel graduates.
